Riot Racing Trophy Truck

The Riot Racing Trophy truck is a desert eatin’ Geiser built off-road race machine. The truck houses a whopping 750 horsepower, small block 460 engine. It pounds the whoops with its Fox 4.4 bypass shocks, and the driver is completely secure in a chrome moly tubing cage. Watch us this year as we plow the desert with BF Goodrich Baja TA 39” tires and leave everybody else in the dust. Go Riot 2010!

Engine

The Riot engine is a 750 horsepower small-block V8. It’s a 462-inch tall deck with a dart block and heads.

Rear differential

The rear differential is a Gearworks gear with a 5.29 ratio for most races. Thirty-six spline axels transfer the power from the differential to the rear tires.

Transmission

It’s a L-480 transmission found in stock trucks. The truck is run in third gear at 1:1. The top speed is approximately 120 mph.

Bypass shock

The shock is a Fox piggy back 4.4 triple bypass. It’s responsible for slowing the spring as it compresses and rebounds.

Coil over shock

The coil shock is a Fox 4.0 spring that holds the weight of the truck. It’s a remote reservoir.

Brakes

They are made by CNC. The brake is a six piston caliper with 14 inch rotors.

Halon system

The halon is a fire extinguisher with long hoses that spray into the engine and the cab in the event of a fire. It’s activated by a driver pulling a pin inside the cab.

Howe

The steering rack is a Howe 2.5 truggy rack, and it steers the truck in a 2:1 ratio.

Light rack

The light rack houses six KC Lights k-pods that have a special HID 70 watt bulb, the only kind in the lighting industry. It has a carbon fiber housing– the same material jet fighters are made of.

Oil accumulator tank

It’s a high capacity oil tank and a five quart oil cooler. The truck circulates 17 quarts of oil.

Fuel cell

The fuel cell holds 95 gallons, and it is puncture proof. Inside the gas tank is a flexible fiberglass cell that will bend when hit.

Tires

The tires are BF Goodrich Baja TA KR 39/12.5/17, and are sometimes grooved.

Dash

The dash is the electrical hub for the race truck. Many of the functions operate redundant systems such as the alternators and starters.

GPS

The GPS is a Lowrance HD 10 inch. The driver has a 5 inch HD screen as well.
